I used to do this exact same thing! Baby, don’t make it about ‘keeping up with diet’, you want to try and move towards making it a lifestyle…. Don’t make it such a chore that you HAVE to eat healthy!! Think about it liike it’s fun! If you’re craving shit food-like-products on your way home from school, think about how it’s going to make your body feel and how much better fresh, colourful, nourishing ACTUAL food will make you feel!
Get up slightly earlier to make more food to take with you to school. I’m in the habit of making HUGE dinners, and taking the leftovers to lunch the next day so I don’t have to worry! MAKE time to eat healthy. You’ll sleep less and you’ll also spend less time on homework as your brain and your bod are working better and more efficiently! Then you won’t be craving junk when you get home!
Make sure you have healthy, quick, brain-powering, happy foods available for when you get home, my go-to snack is avocado on toast with nuttelex and marmite! Or just bananas, a bowl of berries, oatmeal, the list is endless!
